I decided it was time to change things up a little bit, so I picked a new design for my blog.
Do you like it?
I like the colors and the font, but you would not believe how hard it was for me to hit the "save changes" button. I had gotten emotionally attached to "Snapshot Tequila" even though I never did figure out what the picture was in the background of the masthead (a clock? building plans? an architecture student's doodles?). It may have been a snapshot, but I'm pretty sure it didn't have anything to do with tequila. I'm now getting comfortable with "Rounders 3," the design I picked. I hope you like it.
I'm so grateful to all of my faithful readers who voted for me in the Blogger's Choice Awards. I now have an impressive 14 votes. I can't beat Cake Wrecks - heck, she's got 80-some votes and was accidentally nominated a second time and that one has 30-some votes and rising. Never underestimate the American people's love of cake.
I'm actually a little bit surprised I didn't get more comments on my Davy Jones blog entry. If you think I'm making this stuff up, just think about it: Could I even think up something like that? And would I admit to it?
My husband has suggested I write a blog every other day. Even though this method wreaks havoc with my obsessively and orderly weekly schedule, I'm going to give it a shot. Because I'm fle - . . . I'm fle - . . . ackhg . . . I'm trying.
